ILOILO CHASES MICE. Iloilo City is poised to become a major player in the Philippine MICE (Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conventions, Exhibitions, and Events) Industry and its hosting of several APEC meetings in July, September, and October will be a fitting initiation. To support its bid to become a MICE destination is the opening of the Iloilo Convention Center located at Megaworld's Iloilo Business Park. With DOT (through TIEZA) funding, DOT Secretary Ramon R. Jimenez, Jr. inspected the site on Independence Day and got updated on the construction's terminal timetable.
