In Canada the police take a break at Tim Hortons, in the USA they go for donuts and coffee, in IloIlo... Batchoy pa More!! The batchoy here is amazing! I have had batchoy in different parts of the Philippines but it simply doesn't compare to IloIlo! I headed to La Paz market today and found myself in a place called Deco's eating batchoy! Grabe!! Namit gid! Lami! Masarap! This Ilonggo dish is made with pork, noodles, spices (secret ingredients), chicharon and sabaw. It is amazing and a MUST TRY! I was going to post a closer photo of the Batchoy... But... I was smiling looking at the police having a "batchoy break".... Ilonggo Style!
